StoneyCare Ministries is a Christ-centered outreach founded on the principles of Biblical transformation. By recognizing and accepting whole people with broken lives and providing them with a structured community and system in which to pursue their identity in Christ, individual lives are transformed. Transformed individuals lead to transformed families. Transformed families transform communities with far-reaching effects for good. Pastor Barry and his wife Susann lead this amazing ministry each week.
Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery ministry based on biblical principles with a goal to let God work through us in providing His healing power. This allows people to be "changed" spiritually by working through sound biblical principles. Participants open the door by sharing their experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition, they become willing to accept God's grace and forgiveness in solving life's problems. Celebrate Recovery provides a safe place for individuals to begin their journey of breaking out of bondage and into God's grace by helping them to start dealing with their life's hurts, hang-ups, and habits.
Chronic Joy
A support group designed to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of the person who lives with chronic illness or pain.
Through a Christian support group setting, you will have the opportunity to grow spiritually, while surrounded by others who share similar circumstances, unrevealed answers, and even joys, while living with a chronic illness or physical pain. It is a place where we make it a priority to keep our focus on Christ—our ultimate hope and where we put our faith.
DivorceCare
Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before.
DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. It is a Christ-centered, 13-week recovery group for adults including videos and a time for support and discussion. Topics include: Financial Survival, Facing Your Anger, Finding Healing Through Christ & more.
GriefShare
Healing from your grief is not easy. It’s a long, sometimes painful, process. It can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you have never faced before. GriefShare is a Christ-centered, 13-week support group for adults experiencing grief due to the death of a loved one.
Each session offers practical coping skills and education. The small group discussion provides an opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a recent loss. You will learn about their experience and have the opportunity to share your own.
Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry is a Christian-based Ministry, an extension of pastoral care, under the supervision of a pastor at Stoney Church. Stephen Ministers are members of the congregation with a calling for this ministry. They have received 50 hours training with ongoing continuing education, equipping them to provide one-on-one confidential care for individuals who request support *(note this does not replace professional counseling). Stephen Ministers come from all walks of life, but they all share a passion for bringing Christ’s love and care to people during a time of need.
If you are experiencing a time in your life when you need someone to walk alongside you confidentially (for example: the loss of a loved one, a terminal illness, relocation, a job loss, divorce, or when life just becomes overwhelming) Stephen Ministry may be the support you need to get you through this challenge in this chapter your life.
The first step in the process is to complete and submit the online referral form. Stephen Ministers are not counselors and cannot offer advice or direction; but what Stephen Ministers do is listen, care, encourage, pray for, and provide emotional and spiritual support for you. The caring relationship lasts as long as the need for care exists. IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU!!
Wellsprings of Freedom
Wellsprings at Stoney Church is an inner healing and deliverance prayer ministry. It specifically exists to help wounded, hurting, and spiritually oppressed believers find inner healing, freedom and restoration through the power of Jesus Christ.
It is through the application of God's word, God's authority, prayer and worship - that broken and hurting believers find freedom from deep emotional wounds, addictions, fears, and oppression.
The specially trained prayer team of Wellsprings at Stoney Church invites Jesus to battle with and for you in prayer. We call this special time of prayer a "Freedom Session" which takes place within a safe, gentle, loving, and completely confidential setting. It is through a process of inner healing, forgiveness and spiritual warfare that people are finding freedom.
